The top is decorated with soft cream flowers and fresh green foliage surrounding a parchment-style panel reading “A Blessing”. The black lacquered ground gives it beautiful contrast and a classic 19th century look often referred to as Masculine Ware.

A delicate and decorative little piece, perfect for rings, small jewellery, or treasured keepsakes. Lovely cottagecore, dark academia and romantic antique appeal in miniature form.

Likely late Victorian.

Condition:
Fair antique condition. Visible age-related wear including scuffs, small to the lacquer and surface marks as shown. Some rubbing to the printed panel. Structurally sound and the lid fits well.
