Pair of vintage brass vases, likely crafted from repurposed shell casings and detailed with a silver-tone floral embossed band.

Their shape, weight, and finish are consistent with early 20th-century trench art or interwar souvenir metalwork, when soldiers and artisans transformed military materials into decorative objects. The small shield and number 78 stamped on the base are typical of the markings found on period metalwork, possibly from Europe.
